My Top 10 Food Moments of 2013 - Singapore and Elsewhere

2013 started slowly, and for awhile, I was wondering if I would continue writing this blog. It was getting into a monotonous state of churning out endless reviews and recipes.

But as the year wore on, there was a renewed vigor and purpose, mainly through the discovery of new faces and new places.

And just like that, it is 2013, and how fast a year has gone by. And as with my yearly tradition of listing what I think is the best food in Singapore for another year, this is the best of Singapore food for 2012.

This year, I have simply encompassed everything in a single list. No differentiation between fine dining or hawker, or dishes or overall cuisine, just simply the best of of the best. It includes some new discoveries I have found this year, as well as old favorites,

Best Top 10 Food in Singapore 2011

Looking back on 2011, it was an enthralling year for me, as I cooked and tasted through a wide variety of foods, and following my early 2011 year of best of lists, I present my best of 2011 food.

Instead of separating into restaurants and hawker, I thought I do something a bit different this time. I would simply compile the 10 best food of Singapore.

Since my last best of list on hawker food back in January, I had been wanting to compile another best of Singapore hawker dishes, but decided to hold off as I kept on discovering great new hawker stalls.

Like all of my lists, this list is also subjective and based solely on my own opinions and taste. I am sure, there are many great hawker dishes that will be equally deserving, but I have decided to come up with my 10 personal faves.
